Thames Water have reported,
“Last week we had to attend properties in Dorchester that were flooded due to a blockage in the foul sewer cased by Fat oil and grease and paper and rag blockages. ie sewer misuse.”
Cooking fats, oils and grease, Fats, oils, and grease might seem harmless. But even small amounts can build up in pipes, harden when cold and cause nasty blockages. See link below to guidelines.
